I just wanted to drop you a note with a word of thanks. I gave my Father In-law Jim Weltzien of Crystal Lake a day trip with you for his birthday last month. He really enjoyed himself and was able to catch some fish just as you said he would. He had nothing short of a great experience and a fun filled, fish catching day. I really appreciate the effort you put into your trip with him and I know that this will be an experience he will not soon forget. My wife and I are happy that we were able to give him something that he might not have ever experienced. But you are bigger part in the experience for you are the one who really gave it to him. My wife and I attended the Orvis School in Kokler, WI June 21, 2004. School instructor John Matenaer was just great. It was just amazing what he accomplished with my wife in her casting. His knowledge of the other activities of the course is outstanding and so is his ability to convey this knowledge to the student. I would highly recommend this Midwest Orvis school.

Returning from the Wisconsin School, I would describe the program simply as outstanding! John Matenaer is not only an exceptional fisherman, but a wonderful instructor as well. I would definitely recommend the school to anyone looking to improve their angling experience.
