What should I bring?
Spring Warm underclothing; insulated; fleece is a very good choice. Finger-less gloves, rain gear, polarized sunglasses, hooded jacket or coat, cap, hat.
Summer Light clothing, rain gear, polarized sunglasses, insect repellant, sun-block recommended, cap or hat.
Fall Warm underclothing; insulated; fleece is a good choice. Rain gear, finger-less gloves, polarized sunglasses, hooded jacket or coat, cap or hat.
Winter Same as spring and fall.
   
Do I need a fishing license? Yes. A 2-day, sport-fishing license is required if fishing for 1 or 2 days. Licenses can be obtained prior to your fishing trip by calling the WI DNR office toll free telephone number at 1-877-945-4236. On line at www.wildlifelicense.com/wi/ available 7-days a week, 24 hours a day. A credit card is required. When by phone; you will be given a license number at that time, Do not lose this number! You will need to have that number in your possession the day or day's you are fishing. Also, be sure you give the correct day or day's you wish the license to be in-affect ,day/ month/ year. If you wish, I can take care of this for you. I will need your full name Date-of-birth, and Social Security number. This cost will be applied to your trip.
   
Can I bring my own equipment? Yes. When fishing for the lake run fish such as Salmon, an 8 or 9 weight, fly-rod is recommended. Steelhead, and Brown trout, 7 or 8 weight fly-rod is sufficient. When fishing for Small mouth Bass and Pike a 6 or 7 weight works well. Inland Brook trout and Brown trout a 3 to 5 weight fly rod is a good choice. Generally, All Seasons Guide Service provides all equipment needed.
   

Fishing Conditions
Manitowoc River conditions as of 5-27-08:
water conditions are dirty but fishable.Smallmouth are being caught in many area's.


Onion River conditions as of 5-27-08:
Alot of good project work has been done and is providing exellent habitat for brook and brown trout. Hats off to all the volunteers who worked very hard to make this river what it is now.The future looks bright for the Onion. There are regulations on it now so be aware of them. Please practice catch and release to give these fish a long future.


Pigeon River conditions as of 4-17-08:
The Pigeon river is clear and smallmouth are being caught in deeper pools.


Sheboygan River conditions as of 5-27-08:
The Sheboygan river is quite fishable with smallmouth and pike being caught.


Lake Michigan Shoreline conditions as of 5-27-08:
The carp action has picked up at the power plant. Browns are being caught from time to time.
